The Role

The Role
As an Epicor 10/Kinetic Developer (ERP), you will be important in maintaining, customising, and optimising the ERP system to meet our company's evolving needs. You will collaborate with our staff to improve workflows, create solutions, and ensure integration with other systems.
Responsibilities
- ERP / Epicor
- To provide subject matter expertise of the Epicor system - Understand how Epicor is used in our business and identify opportunities for efficiency and business process improvements
- Day-to-day and on-going management of Epicor ERP for optimum performance
- Identify and resolve issues that will prevent the delivery of business benefits, facilitating open communication and discussion between stakeholders, acting as functional expert for Epicor to resolve issues that are raised.
- Direct and manage multiple ERP / Epicor projects of varying complexities from Business Case to full deployment of new or upgraded versions of Epicor into IT, Finance and Distribution while identifying, assessing and managing risks to the success of the project.
- Work with third party suppliers to gather information or facilitate conversations to deliver our projects.
- Works with Epicor Consultants and Epicor Customer Support to ensure full utilisation of the software, and resolution of user and implementation issues
- Planning/managing future improvements/customisations and upgrades to EPICOR
- Epicor training for employees
- IT Management (in conjunction with IT support partners)
- Oversee and direct the service received from our selected IT support partners to ensure excellent availability of IT services for all employees
- Lead IT Department operational and strategic planning, including fostering innovation, planning projects, and organizing and negotiating the allocation of resources.
- Ensuring of the smooth running of all IT systems and software on a day-to-day basis
Requirements
- University degree or equivalent in the field of computer science with around 4 years relevant experience, ideally gained in a logistics, finance or distribution background.
- Good understanding of Epicor ERP, ideally with past experience as a Developer or Systems Analyst with strong SQL skills
- Proficiency in C#, SQL, SSRS, REST API, KPIs, development, integration, customisation, dashboards, ERP upgrades and BPM/BAQ
- Solid understanding of developing and implementing solutions for ERP business processes, including production, finance, warehousing, distribution, intercompany and supply chain
- ERP maintenance, support, training, and project management
- Collaboration with ERP consultants and Epicor Customer Support
- Any experience with website e-commerce integration, Marketing, CRM, SharePoint and Power BI
- Any primary IT system skills will be appreciated
- High competence in project and stakeholder management
- Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills
- A ‘hands on’ and practical approach, acts strategically whilst leading and directing on execution and implementation
- Willingness to travel to our Nottingham site from time to time
